Thirty male and female volleyball players participated in a 12-week training program, with half assigned to the bench dip and push-up training group and the other half serving as the control group. The training group performed regular bench dip and push-up exercises alongside their usual volleyball practice, while the control group only focused on their regular training. Pre- and post-training assessments were conducted to evaluate serve accuracy, power, and technique. The bench dip and push-up training group showed significant improvements in serve accuracy, increased power, and enhanced technique compared to the control group. These findings suggest that incorporating bench dip and push-up exercises into training routines can be a valuable approach to improving the volleyball overhead serve. In conclusion, bench dip and push-up training can positively influence serve performance, providing players with the necessary upper body strength, core stability, and arm power. Coaches and athletes are encouraged to include these exercises in their training programs to enhance the effectiveness of the volleyball overhead serve.

Aris Jumadi Sandra Arhesa Brio Alfatihah Rama Yuhda Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-04-30 2023-04-30 2 1 1 7 The Effect of Paired and Unpaired Ball Passing Practice on Ball Passing Ability in the Game of Football https://journal.apskori-sanjoss.org/index.php/njss/article/view/21
This study aims to determine the effect of pair and unpaired ball passing training on the ability to pass the ball in football games in students of SMK YPPP Wonomulyo Polman. This research belongs to the type of experimental research. The population of this study was all students of SMK YPPP Wonomulyo Polman with a total research sample of 30 male students selected by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is an infrencial analysis technique with a t-test using the SPSS system Version 22.00 at a significant level of 95% or 0.05. Departing from the results of data analysis, this study concluded that: (1) there was a significant effect of paired ball passing training on the ability to pass the ball in football games, proven to = 5,200 > tt = 2,045 (P < α0.05); (2) there is a significant effect of unpaired training on the ability to pass the ball in football games, proven to = 3,200 > tt = 2,045 (P < α0.05); (3) there is a significant difference in the effect of pair and unpaired ball passing practice on the ability to pass the ball in football games, proven to = 3.238 > tt = 2.000 (P < α0.05).
Muhammad Ishak Sahabuddin Sahabuddin Husniati Husniati Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-04-30 2023-04-30 2 1 8 15 Forehand Strokes on Table Tennis: Study of the Correlation of Hand Grip Strength and Hand Reaction Speed https://journal.apskori-sanjoss.org/index.php/njss/article/view/22
This study aims to determine the relationship between hand grip strength and hand reaction speed to forehand strokes in table tennis games. This research includes type of descriptive research. The research population was all male students of SMK Negeri 7 Makassar with a total sample of 40 people selected by random sampling. The data analysis technique used is the correlation analysis technique using the SPSS Version 17.00 system at a significant level of 95% or a 0.05. Based on the results of data analysis, this study concludes that: (1) hand grip strength has a significant relationship to forehand strokes in table tennis games with an observational correlation value (r0) of -0.911 with a probability level of (0.000) < a0.05; (2) hand reaction speed has a significant relationship to forehand strokes in table tennis with an observational correlation value (r0) of 0.886 with a probability level of (0.000) < 0.05; and (3) hand agrip strength and hand reaction speed have a significant relationship to forehand strokes in table tennis as shown by the observational regression value (R0) of 0.924 with a probability level of (0.000) < 0.05. a

Sahabuddin Sahabuddin Copyright (c) 2023 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-04-30 2023-04-30 2 1 16 21 Efforts to Improve the Learning Outcomes of Chest Pass Basketball through a Demonstration Method for Students in Class XI SMA Santa Lusia https://journal.apskori-sanjoss.org/index.php/njss/article/view/25
Based on observations at SMA Santa Lucia Bekasi in December and January, In the practise of basketball, especially the chest pass technique carried out by students, a common mistake made by students is that when holding the ball, they tend to hold it in their fingers and not in their palms in the initial attitude; the hands tend not to be perfectly straight when rejecting the ball in the execution attitude; automatically, the arms are not straight forward in the final attitude; and the student's hands are not balanced when holding and rejecting the ball due to the use of a real ball. From these conditions, it will certainly affect the value of the student's chest pass, where it is obtained that the value of students who pass is 10, while students who do not pass are 18, with a percentage of 30% who pass and 70% of students who do not pass out of a total of 28 students. In this study, the type of research used is PTK (classroom action research), and the approach to this research is quantitative. Action research uses the Kemmis and McTaggart model of research cycles, where each cycle has systematic steps consisting of action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The demonstrations that have been obtained from cycle I to cycle II can be said to have been carried out well.
Gabriel Roby Renaldo Asrori Yudha Prawira Faridatul ‘Ala Ahmad Muchlisin Natas Pasaribu Copyright (c) 2023 Gabriel Roby Renaldo, Asrori Yudha Prawira, Faridatul ‘Ala, Ahmad Muchlisin Natas Pasaribu https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-04-30 2023-04-30 2 1 22 25 Arm and Leg Muscle Strength Training on Swimming Speed 50 Meters Freestyle at Ekoatic Swimming Club https://journal.apskori-sanjoss.org/index.php/njss/article/view/26
This study aims to determine the effect of arm and leg muscle strength training at Ekoatic Swimming Club. Muscle strength training at the Ekoatic Swimming Club Among them are leg muscle strength exercises (lunges, squat jumps, jogging jumping jacks) and arm muscle strength exercises (plank, push-ups, bench dips, shoulder taps). This type of research uses quantitative methods with an experimental approach. The sample in this study amounted to 28 people. The Instruments used in this study include the leg muscle strength test, namely standing broad jump, the arm muscle strength test, namely seated medicine ball throwing, and the 50-metre freestyle swimming speed test. The results showed that the data obtained had a pre-test significance value of 0.70 and a post-test significance value of 0.90. The value is greater than 0.50. Because the value of the significance value of both is greater than 0.50 (significant > 0.50), the hypothesis that the data is normally distributed is disregarded.
Agnes Legi Sulisyani Asrori Yudha Prawira Juli Candra Ahmad Muchlisin Natas Pasaribu Copyright (c) 2023 Agnes Legi Sulisyani, Asrori Yudha Prawira, Juli Candra https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2023-04-30 2023-04-30 2 1 26 30
